The Roller Boat Race for Eastbourne Skaters and Beyond!

Ahhoy there!

This will be a big party! Lots of skaters coming from all over - to Barcombe Mills for a sedate and sensible (ok probably not) - Boat Race!

We always look for something special to do eash month and some of the events we run are so popular they become annual events with a following in their own right.

This is one of those events :)

The Schedule

Sunday 26th June 2011 from about 2:00pm onwards. (At Barcombe Mills - Anchor Pub)

There will be a convoy leaving Eastbourne from about 1:30pm - heading for the Anchor Inn.

We plan to get there.... Hire Kayaks (£8ish per person) and then explore the river Ouse.

Sk8 M8 John has volunteered to police the entire operation to ensure there is no:

  • Capsizing
  • Water Pistols
  • Walking the plank
  • Boarding Parties
  • Splashing
  • Mucking About

Everyone Agrees he is the ideal person to police this!

When/Where to meet up in Eastbourne

Meet at Mr & Mrs T's for about 1:30pm, we'll do the usual convoy, car optimisation etc.

Food and Drink / Preparation

The Anchor does food and drink so you won't need to worry there. However there is a very slight chance of getting damp so put all valuables in something water resistant and bring a change of clothes.
