Eastbourne Sunday Morning Beginners Skate Group Lessons

What ever your age, level of confidence or fitness, we can get you skating in an hour!

Suitable for BeginnersWe've been supporting the skate shops of Eastbourne with beginners skate lessons since 1999. This mixed group lesson runs all year and is suitable for all ages.

These Lessons have a fixed format each week and start with how to stand up!

Cost

£5 off with suitable voucher from partners in town (LOCO and RE-AL), otherwise

Adult £8, Child £5, skate hire £5 (protective gear free).
When and Where

Summer Timetable - April-October  - The Skaters Cage Sundays 9:30am

Winter Timetable - October-April - Hampden Park Saturdays 4pm
Equipment

Helmet, Knee, Elbow and Wrist guards are required. We have plenty of spares available if you need to borrow some. Skate rental is also available in all sizes from Childs 12 to Adult 10.5 UK sizes. Skate Hire is £5, Pads and Helmets are free to use
Options

If you don't want a group skate lesson, we'll be happy to take you through the first steps with one of our Eastbourne private skate lessons at a time, place and pace to suit you. This is especially suited to nervous and shy types!

Who will be at these skate lessons?

It takes a long time to "unlearn" bad skating habits - avoid them with Sk8school

People like you! Total beginners who have probably never been on skates before and are not even sure how to put some of the pads on! There are no show offs in this lesson and no one will be looking at you - they'll all have there own skating to worry about! There won't typically be many kids as they tend to go straight into the Skate Camps. The age range is literally 6-86 from all walks of life. The one thing you'll all have in common is that none of you are quite sure how you will get up for the first time! But don't worry - that's fixed early in the skate lesson!
